A Yoga Retreat?
No. A Yoga Travel-Treat!
So, what's the deal?
Unlike a typical yoga retreat, meals are not included. This is because we have exploration visits during the day and we stay only a few days at 2 different locations which makes catering a challenge. On the other hand, it gives you the full flexibility in having the meal of your choice.
As a vegetarian, there will always be options available.
Below will give you an overall view of the main differences between a typical yoga retreat compared to the Yoga Travel Treat.

FAQ
-
I am travelling alone. Can I choose a twin sharing option?
Twin sharing rooms are always a single double bed. Ideal for partners or close friends travelling together willing to share a double bed.
If you are travelling alone, please select the single option.
-
Why are meals not included?
A typical yoga retreat centre has its own kitchen facilities and permanent staff. This means you stay there for a determined period of time till the retreat ends and the next batch of yogis arrive.
I do not offer a retreat centre. Instead I offer a flexible way of combining travel exploration and yoga together. The drawback is because we will be visiting places, moving around and staying in hotels, to include meals will be logistically imposisble.
The hotels we stay and the places we visit will always have restuarants available with vegetarian options. While vegan is widely available, it is not guaranteed.
-
Why do we stay in hotels and not a retreat centre?
If we stayed in 1 location or a retreat centre, all our exploration activities will only be in the area where the retreat is located or commit valuable time to transport in order to visit further places.
As the yoga travel-treat move between 2 locations (or 3 if you take the Nusa Penida extension option), you will not be stuck in one place and you get to see more of Bali!
-
What if I am a vegetarian or a vegan?
Most restaurants will offer a vegetarian option. While vegan is widely available it cannot be guaranteed. However when we are in Ubud (second location), you will be spoilt with choices for both vegetarian and vegan.
You do have to be flexible at times especially when we are out on activities.
If you are a strict vegan, this yoga travel treat is probably not suitable for you.
-
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
Each yogi will be provided with a personal a yoga mat which you will be responsible for its care during the duration of the yoga travel treat.
A deposit of €50 or equivalent will be required and fully refundable upon return of the yoga material.
You are welcome to come with your own mat which €20 can be deducted.
-
I am new to yoga. Can I join?
The yoga travel treat is open to beginners up to intermediate and those with a regular practice.
If you are new to yoga, this is definitely the perfect place to start! There will be alignment workshops to get you started and for those more experienced, you can fine tune your asanas.
My philosophy is - no competition, listen to your body and yoga is a personal journey. We all have different bodies and anatomy.
Durign classes, I will offer more challenging options for those who feel they are ready.
Staying where you are is perfectly fine and child pose is always a good place to be!
-
What can I expect at the end of the 7 day yoga travel treat?
Each day, during our yoga practice we will focus on different mental aspects and physical parts of our body as well as opening up our chakras.
My objective is to make you feel lighter, experience more positive energies, stay more focussed and secure.
However, to attain this blissful feeling, you have to commit to attending all yoga classes and come with an open mind.
Along the way you'll make new friends, discover a new culture and enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Easy!
Just provide me your flight number, arrival time, mobile number and Whatsapp number.
You will be met by your personal driver holding a card with your name at the arrivals hall of Denpasar airport. If your flight is delayed, we are dependent on you or the airline's website providing up to date information.
In the event of excessive delay (more than 3 hours or arrivals past midnight), a small supplement maybe requested.
If you are already in Bali, send me your hotel details, room number, mobile number and Whatsapp number. Your personal driver will pick you up.
An small extra fee may be requested if you are picked up from a location that is 'off the grid' or far away. This will be communicated to you in advance.
